Hot Rods Stroker Crankshafts & Pistons

aftermarket motorcycle parts Hot Rods, Inc. has been been producing Stroker Crankshafts & Pistons for motorcycles for some time. Recently they have introduced their Stroker ATV crankshaft line. They have developed six long-stroke applications for ATV's. Additionally, they have developed four special pistons for the Banshee, Warrior, Raptor and TRX 400, making these installations fast & simple by avoiding additional machine work & parts typically required for long-stroke engines.

Hot Rods, Inc. Banshee 4mm Stroker Piston:
  • For use with 4mm Banshee Stroker crankshaft (Part HR4111)
  • Relocated wrist pin bore
  • Piston skirts coated with MoS2 - PTFE for better break-in & wear resistance.
  • Complete with rings, clips & wristpin

Hot Rods, Inc. ATV 4 Stroke Big Bore Forged Stroker Pistons (TRX400, Raptor 660 & Warrior 350):

  • For use with Hot Rods, Inc. Stroker crankshafts (Parts HR4140, HR4143 & HR4144)

Hot Rods Connecting Rods (Part III)

aftermarket motorcycle parts Double honing and ultra-round (50 millionths) bearing surface produces a reliable high RPM connecting rod.
Small ends are double drilled to supply extra lubrication and cooling to the wrist pin bearing, which is especially important when the piston crown is close to the wrist pin bearing. Thrust washer is silver coated bronze phosphor.

Hot Rods Connecting Rods (Part II)

aftermarket motorcycle parts Hot Rods, Inc. Connecting Rods are shot peened to eliminate surface stress risers and to blend the rod forging's radii together smoothly. Unlike hand-ground and polished rods, shot peening produces more consistent dimensioning & surface finish for superior strength under heavy loads.
By shot peening the connecting rod's surface, fatigue durability is improved two times over a forged rod and over eight times when compared to a polished rod.
