ProX pistons are precision machined on the latest state-of-the-art CNC equipment. They are made from the same low-expansion, low-friction piston alloy as is used by all major Japanese engine manufacturers. ProX pistons are appropriate OEM replacement parts for Motorcycle, Scooter, Moped, ATV, Personal Watercraft applications.

ProX Piston Assemblies contain the piston, rings, clips and pin and are available in standard size and a wide range of oversizes. The availability of oversizes up to 2mm significantly helps increase the lifespan of a cylinder by offering more re-boring possibilities. ProX pistons for plated cycliders come in standard size as well as in A, B, C, D+ oversizes. Take advantage of additional oversizes to extend the lifetime of plated cylinders.

Hot Rods Connecting Rods (Part III)

Double honing and ultra-round (50 millionths) bearing surface produces a reliable high RPM connecting rod.
Small ends are double drilled to supply extra lubrication and cooling to the wrist pin bearing, which is especially important when the piston crown is close to the wrist pin bearing. Thrust washer is silver coated bronze phosphor.

New Barnett Clutch Kits

Barnett Tool & Engineering, a family-owned business located in Ventura, CA, is entering its 61st year in the motorcycle industry. In 1948, they began making cable assemblies for British bikes. The late 50's brought the production of Barnett clutch plates, primarily for the growing Honda presence in the US. The business continued to grow through the years, the 90's bringing about new materials like carbon fiber and Kevlar friction plates. They package kits (friction plates, steel drive plates and heavy duty clutch springs) for specific applications.

Recently introduced are a number of new kits mostly for street bike applications which we'll cover later in the week. Today, we'll simply highlight the one new ATV application...

EFI Fuel Management Controller Testimonials

Ron Gryzmala in Wiseco Customer Service tried one on his 2003 Harley Davidson Ultra Classic. Here's what he says about it...
The fuel management controller was installed on my bike here at Wiseco. The controller smoothed out the operation of my bike. Before the controller, my bike was at the stock settings. I now have no popping or backfiring during deceleration off the freeway. It has also increased the roll on power for acceleration onto the highway. I really like it. "It has definitely increased the performance of my baby."

Chris Hawthorne of Wiseco Manufacturing installed one on his 2007 Harley Davidson V-Rod. He says...
I did the install myself and it only took about an hour. It was very easy to install. I also found on the V-Rod you can't really mount it under the seat, so I put it behind the air box. It is still easy to get to and is out of sight from rain and such. And as far as the performance end of it, WOW what a difference I felt! Before installing the WISECO fuel controller, the exhaust pipes would glow cherry red. Not the bike runs cooler and has lots more acceleration in the mid range.

New from WISECO, these Electronic Fuel Injection Controllers help you get the most out of upgrades like high compression pistons, performance camshafts, exhaust or other power adding components. An EFI Controller gives you three basic zones of operation, similar to a carburetor. One zone sets your 'pilot jet' for idle & cruise. Another zone sets your 'needle jet' for acceleration, and a third zone sets your 'main jet' for heavy loading and wide open throttle.
